Salim Velji was born and educated in Tanzania. Rising above severe financial hardship through sheer determination and resourcefulness, he went on to earn a business degree from the University of East Africa. A natural leader, Salim began his career with a parastatal government organization, where his creative vision and leadership left a lasting impact.
Driven by a passion to address the existential challenges Artificial Intelligence presents to society, Salim was inspired to write and produce the audiobook AI – Future of Work and Humanity. Tragically, as he was preparing to publish his work, his life was cut short in a fatal car accident.
The publication of this audiobook serves as a celebration of Salim’s life and vision.
